It was a REALLY windy day, but I busted out the macro lens anyway. Found a lovely patch of wildflowers that caught my eye and thought I would share.

So I recently upgrade to Photoshop CS5 and tried the HDR application. Here is my first attempt.The first image is right out of camera. The second image is after merging 3 different exposures to get the final high dynamic range {HDR} image. BEFORE AFTER
Here is another image from my trip to the Southwest. This was taken at Antelope Slot Canyon in Page, Arizona. I can’t even begin to explain the beauty seen here in the canyons. Mid-day is the best time as the sun’s rays find their way through the cracks in the canyon.
So my plan was to post an image per day while here in Utah, but it’s already Wednesday so I am behind. The weather has been perfect overall….especially today. Here is an image from Zion National Park while on our 1.7 mile hike from Canyon Overlook back to the visitor’s center.
So we decided to head outside early this morning to capture some images while all of the snow was still untouched. We received record snowfall in DFW. We had seven inches of snow in Wylie, TX.
