What a time we had. This adorable little guy had the most awful time having his picture taken. He was just not happy. We tried and tired to get this little guy to sleep…we did, but only for a few short moments. I grabbed what sweet moments I could before he got hungry again
I am so happy for mom and dad for their little miracle. I know they will be the best parents! Congratulations!!

My husband and I visited Austin this past weekend and had a chance to go to Lady Bird Johnson’s wildflower center. It was hotter than hades, but I managed to capture an image that became a favorite instantly.
Believe it or not, this came right out of the camera (with the exception of some color pop) The bokeh was already there

I was very sad today to see that the place where I found the giant dandelions had been mowed. Luckily, I had taken one home and was able to take some more macro pictures.
So, over the weekend we found these giant dandelions. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dandelions and these were unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like them. They were the size of baseballs

So many times it’s hard to see the real value in something unless you know where it started, right?
I wanted to share some before and after pictures so that you can see, as a client, what you are paying for with your hard earned money!
I spend countless hours editing my own photographs before presenting them to the client. It is important to me to keep the integrity of the photo but make it the best it can be. I definitely what you to look like you
No photoshop plastic surgery here! But sometimes we all need just a little help…LOL. I probably spend much more time than I should, but I’m one of those darn perfectionists!
Here are some samples of before and after photographs. The 1st photo is right out of the camera in camera RAW format, the second is after post processing in Adobe Photoshop CS4.

I really hope this helps put in perspective the value of what I do for you, it really does take much more valuable time after the photos are actually taken than it does taking the pictures themselves. I’m not sure clients would truly be happy with receiving only the before product and I certainly wouldn’t be happy delivering that when I know what can be done to make it much better.
I truly do appreciate your business and strive to deliver my best product always.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to take maternity portraits for a good friend who has wanted nothing more that to experience motherhood. She has been through so much and I am so thrilled that her prayers were finally answered.
Her little boy is due in June and I can’t wait to meet him and find out his name…they are keeping it a secret until he is born
I know that she and her husband Jason will be wonderful parents. They have a very loving and nurturing relationship that will provide the perfect home for the new little one.
Congratulations April and Jason!
